Project Objective: Design a special occasion restaurant experience for Tallahassee, Florida.
Design Concept
The azalea flower, native to the city of Tallahassee, serves as the design concept for The Conservatory. Symbolizing resilience and the celebration of life, the azalea flower supports The Conservatory's mission of being a place where life’s moments are celebrated and timeless memories are preservedInspired by Europe's winter gardens, The Conservatory is a timeless love letter to arboretums of the imagination.
Dining Room Concept
Upon entering the dining room, customers will notice a glass-like ceiling that will assist in creating The Conservatory’s  illusion of eternal daylight. No matter the outside weather, it is always a beautiful day to dine at The Conservatory!
Modeled in Revit and rendered with Lumion.
Detail Drawings & Custom Revit Models
Custom stained glass windows were modeled for The Conservatory's magical portal door and dining room. The windows in the dining room support The Conservatory's illusion of eternal daylight and the portal door conceals the dining room’s special effects from customers waiting in the lobby.
